I had a brand new unit " Carrier" placed upstairs and downstairs in my house in August 2014, by july of that year it stopped cooling right in the middle of a family reunion with 12 people staying at my house. I have had nothing but trouble with both units. For two years the upstairs unit has had 7 repairmen come out to my house to fix the problems with the unit. It worked for another year and then the condenser crapped out, they replaced and fixed that, with a payment of $89.00 for the service charge the part was under warranty. Now the bottom unit circuit board shorted out because bugs got into the back and shorted out the board. The part is under warranty, now I will have to pay a service charge on top of a warranty charge for the new circuit board. If the part is under warranty there should be no warranty charge!! The company is acting like they are doing me a favor because they have come out to the house to fix the problems and only charged me for three trips. REALLY? This is a brand new unit! Realistically other than maintenance for the unit, nothing should go wrong with it for at least 5 to 7 years. Hasty Heating & Cooling Don't pee down my back and then tell me it's raining. Never will I use Carrier again nor will I use Hasty Heating & Cooling again, I do not endorse this business.
